Event Description

This years conference programme will focus on the practice of professionals working with pre-school children and their families to promote health and well being. Today's enormous expectation from health visiting services and children's centre's makes it essential that professionals working in these areas, and those working in partnership with them, strive to practice at the cutting edge of new policy and evidence. The programme will offer delegates the opportunity to hear from not only distinguished policy makers and researchers, but also experts in a range of clinical and public health arenas relevant to the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme. There will also be a particular practice focus on: mental health promotion infant and child nutrition autism safeguarding childhood obesity addressing health inequalities.
