PSHE Association Workshop: working with young people who self-harm

This PSHE Association one-day workshop will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to give emotional and practical support to young people who deliberately harm their bodies.

The workshop is aimed at anybody who works with young people including teachers, health professionals and counsellors.

The day will address the primary causes, symptoms and triggers of self-harm; those who are at risk; the different types of self-harm; creative ways to help; sources of referral; and useful resources.

Cost: £100 for PSHE Association members, £120 for non members
