Overlapping adhd, autism, asperger syndrome, dyslexia and dyspraxia
Date:
20 November 2009
Time:
08:00 - 14:30 St James’ Park, Newcastle
Overlapping or co-existing ADHD, Autism (ASD), Asperger syndrome, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia (DCD) refers to a wider range of additional difficulties not directly related to the core presentation.
This is an area of growing interest because it calls into question the boundaries of each difficulty and the support they require.
The elevated risk to the education of the student with any one of these difficulties requires a greater understanding of them all.
The keynote presentation will be delivered by Madeleine Portwood, Specialist Senior Educational Psychologist, Durham County Council.
