Parents Together 2009 – an event for families affected by disability

ENABLE Scotland, Capability Scotland, Parent to Parent and Angus Carers' Centre are holding this event which promises to be relaxing, informative and an opportunity for you to meet other parents and carers who have children or young people with a disability.

The day will include workshops on community connections for carers and young people, short breaks, transition to adulthood and employment, and your rights under the Additional Support for Learning Act.

Beauty therapists will be offering ‘taster’ massage and beauty sessions, and a range of local and national organisations will have stands with disability related information.

You can choose to attend for all or just part of the day.
