The QNIS focus groups carried out during 2007 were very successful in giving community nurses in Scotland a voice concerning the implementation of the CHN model; the contribution made by those participating was very much appreciated.
A very interesting focus group was also held in October this year, which provided an opportunity for practitioners from a range of disciplines to come together to discuss the implementation of the CHN, two years down the line. As the event was predominantly attended by district nurses it was felt that it would be useful to hold another focus group which targeted health visitors and public health nurses to find out their views 2 years on.
