Meningitis is a life changing disease. There are over 500,000 people living in the UK today who have had meningitis or meningococcal septicaemia, and nearly 18,000 have died over the last 60 years.
The Meningitis Trust is a registered charity committed to providing specialised support services to anyone who has been affected by meningitis or meningococcal septicaemia. The Trust is also committed to increasing understanding of these diseases and funding relevant research.
