HPV & Cervical Cancer: What you & your pupils need to know

A FREE curriculum linked teaching and learning resource from The Royal Society of Health (RSH) is available now to order by emailing hpvinfo@rsph.org

The material aims to support teachers and school nurses in introducing and raising awareness of HPV & cervical cancer within a broader sexual health context and will be of interest to school & practice nurses, PSHE teachers, local health promotion teams, sexual health teams, pharmacists, Healthy Schools coordinators & local school improvement teams.

This material is being developed by the RSH under the guidance of an independent steering group with funding from Sanofi Pasteur MSD.

Available online from July 2008 and sent to schools for the start of the new academic year, the resource pack includes a comprehensive teachers’ guide and four complete lesson plans together with supporting source material and IWB Power Point presentations for use in the context of personal, social and health education, sex and relationship education and the science curriculum.
