CWDC: Delivering Brighter Futures

The Children’s Workforce Development Council (CWDC) is running a series of free regional events during June and July 2008. We would very much value your input into these important conferences.

These events will aim to:

• Provide you with an update on the progress of the workforce reform to support Every Child Matters (ECM).
• Inform you of the CWDC’s role to date and anticipated future directions
• Hear more about what you and your organisation thinks about the Workforce Reform and the next steps.

The events are as follow:

Monday 16th June Cambridge
Thursday 19th June Sheffield
Friday 20th June Leicester
Monday 23rd June London
Wednesday 25th June Manchester
Friday 27th June Bristol
Monday 30th June Birmingham
Friday 4th July Newcastle
Monday 7th July Gatwick

Venue details will be sent to you nearer the time. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. The provisional timings are 9.30 am – 3.30 pm.

We want to engage much more widely across the spectrum of those working with and for children. These events will be an opportunity for participants to voice their views and a rare opportunity to meet and talk with others working in the same field.
