Welcome to SAPHNA's Website
SAPHNA was launched in January 2006 by a group of committed, experienced and motivated practitioners from across the UK. They, with you, are passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of children, young people and their families.
We trust that in working together with you and key partner agencies we can begin to make a positive contribution to this shared agenda.

SAPHNA Membership
Membership of SAPHNA is open to any individual or organisation working in the field of children and young people’s health across the UK.
Department of Health: School Nurse Development Programme

SAPHNA is collecting examples of good practice and are looking for any case studies or details of innovative work that has been undertaken.
Young Carers Competition
At SAPHNA we are working with the Department of Health to make sure young carers get help and support from their local school nurse. School nurses can help you with a number of issues including advice about your own health concerns.
We need your help to design a badge that school nurses will wear so you know who they are and that they can support you.
So please get involved - send us your drawing and get school nurses noticed !
